FAQS
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—and it’s normal to have questions.
Here are answers to some of the most common concerns women ask before beginning this journey.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, anxious, or unsure about your purpose, therapy can help. You don’t need a crisis to reach out. Therapy is a supportive space to process your experiences, gain clarity, and grow into the strongest version of yourself.
What can I expect during the first session?
In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and how I can support you. It’s a safe, no-pressure conversation where you can ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and decide if it’s a good fit.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes! I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions for women across Colorado. You can attend therapy from the comfort of your home, office, or any private space where you feel safe and supported.
Can faith or spirituality be part of therapy?
Yes—if it’s meaningful to you. For women who desire it, we’ll integrate Biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual insight to guide healing and growth. This is always tailored to your personal beliefs and comfort level.
What are your office hours?
I offer sessions during the following times:
Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Contact me to discuss availability!
How long are sessions and how often will we meet?
Sessions are 50 minutes long and typically held weekly or bi-weekly. We’ll determine the right pace together based on your needs, goals, and availability.
How much does therapy cost?
My standard rate is [$125.00 per session]. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. We can talk more about this during your free consultation.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept Carelon Behavioral Health, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Anthem EAP for Bank of America, Quest Behavioral Health, Cigna and Aetna. If I’m not in-network with your insurance, I can provide a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Many clients receive partial reimbursement this way, depending on their plan.
If you’re unsure about your benefits, I’m happy to guide you through what to ask your insurance company.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA payments. Payment is due at the time of each session.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I require 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a late fee of $ 125.00.
